This month's PTI blog hop has this image as inspiration:
Immediately I wanted to create something with lots of cream, spring moss and touches of red/pink.
First I stamped the sprig images in versamark and heat embossed, then I loaded up distress inks on a large acrylic block, saturated it with a mister, and then layed it on top of the embossed images. The patterned paper is my favourite sheet from Botanical by Prima.
Supplies; Stamps - Larger than life, Tag-its #5, Mat stack 1 (sentiment), Paper - cream, Botanical PP (Prima), kraft, Other - Larger than life die, doily details die, Berry sorbet satin ribbon, Antique linen and Shabby shutters distress inks, lace, versamark, clear embossing powder.

Such a pretty card! I love your color selection, and the embossed sprigs on the left are fantastic. The Doily with the red flowers is so lovely, and I love the ribbon bow. Very, very pretty. ;-)ReplyDelete
Wow. Love how much detail there is in this card. I like the soft muted colors of the background next to the pop of color with the flowers.ReplyDelete
This is a really beautiful card and I love that you've taken the colours and serenity of the picture and transformed it into this nice card.ReplyDelete

Your card is just delightful! I love how much cream you used and how the red truly pops off the card. The doily is one of my favs, too ;)ReplyDelete
