PTI blog hop - Yellow aqua blooms

Just got my Brushed blooms set yesterday - instant love!  I did the smoosh background technique.

Supplies; Silhouette, watercolour paint.

Smoosh CASE

Where ink gets pooled on an acyrlic block, spritzed with water and then 'smooshed' on a piece of paper.  A CASE of  Betsy Veldman because she is the best!

Wave and gold CASE

A CASE of Maile, found here done with In the meadow dies.  I used gold embossing powder to make the patterned paper.

Splits!

I was using my In the meadow dies for this card, when I realized I could split front panels like the new split dies coming out!  Totally fun!

The first card I used a long banner die the second the snowdrift die.

With the awesome PTI mini stamp set 'Enclosed flower'.  The colours are Fine linen for centres stamped off once, Sweet blush and Berry sorbet (stamped off once for the middle shade).

And another, tone on tone petals with Sweet blush ink, a bit hard to see -

More true to life Alpine Carolers

So, so, SO excited about this set.  Could not be any cuter.  Seriously, this is by far my most favourite set to come out in a long time.  Am I crazy enough to contemplate this as our annual Christmas/holiday card?

This one is flat for mailing and easy to mass produce.
