Ahoy matey

I made the background patterned paper panel with stamps, mists, washi, etc.

Supplies; Stamps - Studio calico card kit, Paper - navy, white, Other - washi, gold and white embossing powders.

Ugly

Now this is going to sound absurd, but bear with me.  I have wanted to try an embellishment heavy/gender neutral/lots going on/messy/misted/Studio calico type card.  I love the look of them, they are very different from my usual style, and sort of artsy.  ...and sort of ugly!  I don't know how it's possible to love something and think it's ugly at the same time, but there you go.  Isn't it funny what we are drawn to sometimes?

Supplies; Stamps - POP2 class set (SC), Paper - SC 3 x 4 PP, white, Aqua mist, Other - wood veneer sentiment, mist (passport MH), vellum speechbubble, kraft tape (BG).

Wanted to try sequins out, ran out and got some, came home & thought 'hmmmmm.... now what?'

Mini Blooms set was sitting out, so that's what I went with!

I set the main panel towards one bottom edge of the card.  Had fun choosing the patterned papers for the negative die cuts.
