PTI blog hop - touch of gold

Man oh man, did this card ever give me trouble!   I was inspired by Japanese chiyogami paper and wanted to create something like it.  At first I wanted to use Mini blooms, but that was more gold than I wanted.  Then I had trouble arranging the flowers 'just so'.  It's still not quite how I envisioned it, but I finally gave up.

I found the perfect floral in an unlikely place - Strawberry patch set!  I embossed the outline large flower in gold and filled in with copic, embossed the solid small flower in clear, and stamped the large solid flower in versamark and white.  I added white dots with a pen, and some sparkly accents to the clusters.

I couldn't find a nice match for the sentiment so I stamped once in Berry sorbet, and overtop in Wet cement.

Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Supplies; Stamps - Strawberry patch, Mini blooms (sentiment), Paper - Sweet blush, white, Other - Gold embossing powder, clear embossing powder, white gel pen, silver gel pen.
